This cedar log cabin was originally constructed on Lake Vermilion around 1913. The ravages of time had taken their toll and it was time for an upgrade. Cabin & Timber got involved in 2000. We repaired the foundation, replaced some sill logs and using historical block and tackle techniques (because of the isolated location) we raised the building two courses of logs higher and then added a modern log roof system
